Maxillary Cyst |
Today was an interesting day. An 11 year old boy came with a maxillary mass. it appeared to be a fibrous dysplasia which we see often. When we opened the cyst, we found two ectopic teeth-a dentigerous cyst. We removed the teeth and curetted the sinus. He will do well.

Next we saw a lady with a gigantic submandibular mass. The tumor was quite hard and may be a mucoepidermoid carcinoma. We will operate soon.
Finally, I saw a boy from last trip who required a forequarter amputation for sarcoma. He is healing well and will get chemo and radiation therapy soon.
ADDENDUM: Here is our little boy one week after resection of his dentigerous cyst. He and his mom are very happy!
